During a star-studded reception in Washington, Marquis Who’s Who celebrates its 50th anniversary with the Golden 50th edition of Who’s Who in America. Among the luminaries in attendance are the first American in space, astronaut Alan Shepard, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, and American diplomat and executive Walter Annenberg.
The reception also features a three dimensional historical timeline highlighting the accomplishments of some of the most important people in United States history from the 1890s to the 1990s. Each of the selected individuals, along with their accomplishment(s), is chronicled in one of the editions of Who’s Who in America.
